DP Gachagua Tells President Ruto to Prioritize Kenyans as His Bosses

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has urged President William Ruto to stay resolute and dedicated to serving the people of Kenya.

Speaking on Tuesday, Gachagua emphasized that Ruto’s ultimate employers are the citizens of Kenya, and they are the voices he should heed.

“Mr. President, I want to offer you encouragement. You’ve been entrusted with a duty by the citizens. Those you’re constructing homes for and those constructing are the same people. They are the ones with the authority, and they are your wealth. Those in the courtroom did not employ you; your instructions come from the citizens,” he stated.

In essence, Gachagua conveyed that Kenyans are the ones who assigned Ruto his responsibilities, and it is their opinions and needs that he should prioritize. He highlighted that those opposing government development initiatives in court are the very individuals who previously vowed that Ruto would not become President.
