Mercedes-Benz launches self-charging car

Automotive world: Mercedes-Benz launches self-charging car

Mercedes-Benz has launched a new luxury car with cutting-edge technology.

It has also showcased the car under the name “Vision Iconic” in Shanghai, during fashion week.

This car shows a new direction for the company’s cars, drawing inspiration from the design of old Benz cars.

This car has a body that can generate electricity, and aims to showcase future innovations.

The Vision Iconic design takes inspiration from old Benz cars:

• The long front hood resembles the 1936 Benz 540 • The rear end is reminiscent of the 300 SL design

• The grille (front of the car) is taken from the Benz 600 Pullman, a popular limousine of the 1960s and 70s.

This new grille will also be used on future Benz vehicles.

Inside the car, the design is drawn from an old art style called Art Deco, which emerged after the first world war.

The style combines ancient beauty with modern creativity, showing new hope for the world.

Meanwhile, Tesla has had a tough time this year. Although they launched a new car in China, sales have not increased.

Their situation is also not good in European markets, where sales have decreased by almost half compared to 2023.

The reasons cited are:

• Their cars look outdated.

• The controversial political statements of Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Tesla is counting on new, affordable cars to help it boost sales.

But competition is fierce from companies like Ford, General Motors and Hyundai.
