A 33-year-old woman was discovered deceased in her residence in Kawangware, prompting detectives to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
The deceased, identified as Cynthia Shivuka, was found in her Stage Two Kawangware home by a family member on Wednesday evening.
Shivuka had departed for work earlier that day accompanied by the family member, although it remains unclear whether she reached her workplace.
Upon returning home in the evening, the family member found the door locked from the inside and received no response upon attempting to contact Shivuka. Concerned, they enlisted the help of neighbors who forcibly entered the residence, only to discover Shivuka unresponsive on her bed. It was determined that she had passed away several hours prior.
Police were summoned to the scene, and the body was subsequently transported to the mortuary pending an autopsy and further investigation to ascertain the cause of death.
