Police in Kiambu County are searching for a 35-year-old woman accused of fatally stabbing her husband during a domestic dispute in Kihunguro, Ruiru, on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
The deceased, identified as George Murage, was found critically injured in his living room following an argument with his wife, who fled the scene after the attack. According to police, the woman allegedly stabbed Murage in the abdomen using a kitchen knife during the altercation.

Neighbours reported hearing distress screams and rushed to the house, where they found Murage bleeding heavily while his wife stood nearby. Moments later, she escaped before police could arrive. A blood-stained knife believed to be the murder weapon was recovered at the scene.
Murage was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. His body was taken to the mortuary for an autopsy as police continue their investigations and urge the suspect to surrender.
