West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin has committed to enhancing public service delivery in 2024 by actively addressing residents’ needs and concerns.
During New Year celebrations, Kachapin commended the residents for choosing leaders with the expectation of dedicated service and highlighted significant advancements in sectors such as health, agriculture, roads, and water within the local economy.
Stressing the importance of collaborative efforts between leaders and residents, he underscored the need for effective coordination to tackle challenges, particularly insecurity, faced by the county. Additionally, Kachapin pledged to provide bursaries to support school-going children, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to stay in school.
