Police officers from Kasagam Police Station in Kisumu County have arrested three suspects accused of robbing mourners at the home of the late Susan Achieng’ Otieno.

According to a post by the National Police Service (NPS) on X, the incident occurred in the Daraja Mbili area of Manyatta, where the suspects allegedly targeted people attending the mourning.
One of the victims alerted the police, who quickly responded to the scene. With help from members of the public, the officers managed to apprehend three suspects, while others managed to escape.
Police have since launched investigations to track down the remaining culprits.
“The National Police Service applauds the community for their alertness and urges anyone with information that could aid in further arrests to come forward,” the statement said.
