According to a report released by Infotrak Research and Consulting on Thursday, 81% of Kenyans are in favor of Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga’s candidacy for the position of African Union (AU) Chairperson.
The survey, conducted on March 8th to 9th, 2024, found that only 16% of respondents opposed Odinga’s bid for the AU Chairperson post.

The survey employed a sampling frame based on Population Proportionate to Size (PPS) methodology, utilizing data from the 2019 Census to ensure representativeness.
Covering all 47 counties and 8 regions of Kenya, the survey sample distribution was proportionately allocated across the regions to guarantee national representativeness.
With a confidence level of 95%, the survey carried a margin of error of 3.099%.
