At least six people have died following a tragic road accident in the Manyatta area of Taita Taveta County, involving a Chania Executive bus and a trailer on the Nairobi–Mombasa highway.
Preliminary reports indicate that the bus was attempting to overtake when it collided head-on with the truck, smashing the bus’s right side and forcing it off the road.
Several other passengers were injured and taken to Moi Referral Hospital in Voi for urgent medical attention.
