The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has announced that its county delegates elections will be conducted on Monday, August 25, 2025.
According to the National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC), the polls will take place at designated centres across the country, with the exception of Migori, Nairobi, Homa Bay, and Kisumu counties, which will not participate in the exercise.

NECC chairperson Emily Awita said all eligible delegates, as listed on the ODM website, are allowed to contest for county-level positions. Aspirants are required to pay application fees through the party’s official Paybill number 985900, with the account name reflecting the position sought.
The fees have been set at Sh1,000 for non-executive posts, Sh2,500 for women, youth, disability and special interest representatives, Sh5,000 for executive seats other than chairperson, and Sh10,000 for the county chairperson position.
ODM began its grassroots polls in April 2024, following earlier polling unit elections held on November 27, 2024. The process has since seen 77 officials elected at the sub-branch (ward) and branch levels across four committees—mainstream, women’s league, youth league, and disability league.

Positions in the mainstream category include chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer, deputy treasurer, organising secretary, and deputy organising secretary. In addition, there are seats reserved for secretary for women, secretary for youth, secretary for disability, and representatives of special interest groups.
