Police have launched investigations following a fire incident that claimed the life of a 96-year-old woman in Githioro, Nakuru County.
The deceased, identified as Ngendo Mwangi, was reportedly alone in her house when the blaze erupted in the early hours of Tuesday.

Authorities said the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The body was taken to the mortuary for a postmortem examination and other necessary procedures.
