Among the affected routes is the Nairobi Southern Bypass, which will be closed to motorists between the Ole Sereni Interchange and Kikuyu Town throughout the marathon.

Police have outlined alternative routes to ease movement. Drivers heading from Mombasa Road to Kikuyu should use Uhuru Highway and Waiyaki Way, while those traveling between Dagoretti South and Kikuyu are advised to take Dagoretti Road. Motorists moving between Lang’ata and Dagoretti South should use Lang’ata Road via Karen.

Police assured the public that they are working with other government agencies to ensure smooth traffic flow and participant safety.
