Kenya Power has issued a notice regarding scheduled power outages in various locations across six counties on Tuesday.

The outages are planned to take place at different times between 9am and 5pm to allow for routine maintenance work.
Counties Affected: The counties set to experience power interruptions include Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Murang’a, and Mombasa.
Nairobi: Several parts of Nairobi will be without power from 9am to 5pm. Affected areas include King of Judah Church, Bimz Beauty College, Swaminarayan Academy, and surrounding premises. Other affected locations include parts of Githurai 44 and Zimmerman, along with nearby areas.
Uasin Gishu: In Uasin Gishu, outages will occur from 8am to 5pm. Affected areas include Mugunga, Sipande, Mlimani, Pan Paper, Luanda Lugari, Munge, KMTC, Mbogo, and nearby customers. Additional areas facing interruptions are Langas Corner, Ndupawa, Relax Inn, Jijenge Quarry, and the area around Starbucks Hotel.
Kisumu: In Kisumu County, the power disruption is scheduled from 9am to 3pm and will impact Sondu, Nyabondo, Chebera, and Nyakach Girls.
Homa Bay: Parts of Homa Bay County will experience outages from 9am to 4pm. The affected areas include Kendubay Market, Ayub Akoko Primary, Kanyandhiang Market, Nyangacho Secondary School, Dago Market, Oriang Market, Adiedo Market, Pala Market, Prisons, Homahills, Gendia Hospital, and Gendia High School.
Murang’a: In Murang’a, power interruptions from 9am to 5pm will affect Maragwa Level 5 Hospital, Kamung’ang’a Dispensary, Equitorial Nut Processors, Afrimac, Pioneer School, Muthithi Secondary, Kaharati Market, Igikiro Market, Marawa Town, Bishop Mahiani Academy, Igikiro Boys, Mhote Farm, Murang’a School for the Deaf, Maragwa Ridge, Gachocho, Kahariro, and neighboring areas.
Mombasa: In Mombasa, power will be interrupted from 9am to 5pm in areas such as Wayani, Mombasa International Airport, and nearby locations. Additional affected sites include Lecol, parts of Mbaraki Police, Mbaraki Sports Club, Petro Likoni, Shenai Restaurant, Aga Khan Hospital, and sections of Kizingo.
Kenya Power advises residents in the listed areas to prepare for temporary power loss as maintenance works are carried out.
