Kiptum’s Body Moved From Home to Chepkorio Grounds

Kiptum’s body has been transported from his residence in Chepsamo to the Chepkorio showground, where a funeral service will be conducted.

Notable figures expected to attend include President William Ruto and Sebastian Coe, the head of World Athletics.

Accompanied by a convoy of family members, relatives, security personnel, and church leaders, the procession has ensured enhanced security along the six-kilometer route from his home to Chepkorio.

After being transferred from Eldoret Hospital morgue to Iten for public viewing, Kiptum’s body spent the night at his Chepsamo home as per tradition.

Another opportunity for public viewing was scheduled before the commencement of the service. Kiptum will be laid to rest at his new residence in Naiberi, Uasin Gishu.
