Kenyan Murder Suspect to be Repatriated from U.S.

Investigators are making arrangements to repatriate Kevin Kangethe, a Kenyan fugitive wanted in the United States for homicide.

The U.S. embassy in Nairobi has praised Kenyan law enforcement for their efforts in apprehending Kangethe, who is suspected of killing Margaret Mbitu in Massachusetts between October 30 and November 4, 2023.

According to the embassy, U.S. law enforcement, the Kenyan Directorate of Criminal Investigations, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions have collaborated closely in locating and apprehending the fugitive.
