According to reports, workers became suspicious after noticing an unusual blanket while collecting a basket at the plantation shed and raised the alarm.

They later found a man known to them inside the shed. He allegedly left shortly afterwards, saying he was going to buy cigarettes, leaving behind a large red blanket.

On closer inspection, workers discovered the woman’s body wrapped in the blanket. She was unresponsive and had visible injuries on her forehead.

Police who visited the scene confirmed the findings and launched investigations into the incident.

Preliminary findings suggest that the victim and the suspect knew each other, with investigators suspecting the man may have been involved in the killing.
