Speaking on July 21, 2025, Wanga said the party has chosen partnership over political hostility, insisting there is no need to apologise for supporting the government’s agenda.

“We have resolved to work with President Ruto, and we stand by that. We are backing his administration’s initiatives to drive national progress,” she said.

Wanga criticized opposition voices calling for Ruto’s ouster without offering viable alternatives, saying such rhetoric lacks substance in the absence of an election.

“You cannot just say ‘Ruto must go’ without a credible plan or election in place. Opposition should be issue-based,” she added.

Addressing public frustration over the state of governance, Wanga echoed ODM leader Raila Odinga’s call for inclusive national dialogue as the best way forward.

“There are concerns among Kenyans about the country’s direction. Our party leader, Raila Odinga, has proposed that we sit down and talk, and as ODM, we fully support that approach,” she said.

Wanga revealed that ODM has crafted a 10-point agenda to guide its dialogue with the government, affirming that their stance is anchored in democratic values.

“This is a democracy. We believe in structured dialogue, not shouting matches. We have no apologies for engaging constructively,” she concluded.
