Petroleum Principal Secretary Mohamed Liban, EPRA Director General Daniel Kiptoo, and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) Managing Director Joe Sang have resigned from their positions.

In a statement issued on April 4 by the Executive Office of President William Ruto, the departures were confirmed, with the three officials stepping down following allegations of irregularities within the petroleum supply chain.
“The President has received the resignation of Mr Mohamed Liban, Principal Secretary for Petroleum; the KPC Board has accepted the resignation of Managing Director Joe Sang; and the EPRA Board has received the resignation of Director General Daniel Kiptoo Bargoria,” the statement read.
