Jesus Compassion Ministries (JCM) head preacher, Bishop Ben Kiengei, expressed excitement after Pastor Victor Kanyari, founder of Salvation Healing Ministries, accepted an invitation to worship at his Ruiru-based church.
In a Facebook livestream by JCM on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Kanyari—who had earlier attended a service at his Njiru church—was seen arriving at JCM in a convoy of luxury vehicles.

He was warmly received by church ushers at the entrance before proceeding inside, where congregants cheered his arrival. Bishop Ben personally welcomed him and invited him to take a seat in the front row.
The livestream captured Bishop Ben embracing Kanyari as the worship team continued leading the service. The event, which marked a special Thanksgiving Sunday for Bishop Ben and his wife, Reverend Joy Benson, was expected to feature several other prominent gospel ministers and artists.
By the time of reporting, members from five JCM branches had already arrived, with more groups anticipated.
Pastor Kanyari, who has recently been in the public eye due to social media stories about his children’s custody, confirmed on Facebook on Saturday, December 6, 2025, that he would attend JCM’s service.
He announced his arrival time as 11 am and praised Bishop Ben, referring to him as “His Eminence,” while encouraging his followers to join him at the church.
“Tomorrow, let’s meet at Salvation Healing Ministry, and later, at around 11 am, I will join His Eminence Bishop Ben Gathungu at JCM, the Home of Compassion and Love, for a church service. See you there,” he wrote.
Celebrating Young Talent
The visit comes shortly after Bishop Ben commended Kanyari’s 13-year-old daughter, Sky, for her entrepreneurial spirit. Speaking during a youth seminar in Laikipia County on Saturday, November 29, 2025, the bishop highlighted how she has successfully leveraged social media to generate income at a young age.

He praised her use of platforms like TikTok to share creative content and build a sustainable income stream, noting how inspiring it is for young people.
“Imagine, a young girl like Betty Bayo’s daughter is already earning money at just 13. She sets up a camera, dances, shares her videos, and even I follow her content because it’s impressive and motivating,” Bishop Ben said.
