Babu Owino visited police officers injured by a tear gas explosion during a protest.
The officers, Chief Inspector David Maina and Corporal Moraa, were hurt while managing demonstrators against the Finance Bill, 2024.
Babu Owino visited them at Nairobi West Hospital where they are recovering.
He expressed concern over injuries during peaceful protests and urged police not to suppress democratic rights.
The incident occurred when a senior officer mishandled a tear gas canister, injuring himself and others.
