CFAO Mobility Kenya Acquires TYDIA, Becomes Michelin Distributor

CFAO Mobility Kenya has acquired Tyre Distribution Africa (TYDIA), making it the official distributor of Michelin and BF Goodrich tyres in East Africa.

This acquisition strengthens CFAO Mobility Kenya’s presence in the automotive sector, expanding its tyre distribution network across the region.

TYDIA is known for providing high-quality tyres for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and construction equipment, supported by a strong distribution system.

With the acquisition, CFAO Mobility Kenya aims to enhance the availability of Michelin and BF Goodrich tyres in both wholesale and retail markets, utilizing TYDIA’s infrastructure to reach a wider customer base.

“We are strengthening our position in the East African market, allowing us to offer a broader range of tyres to our customers,” said Arvinder Reel, Managing Director of CFAO Mobility Kenya. “With Michelin and BF Goodrich now in our portfolio, we can better serve the diverse needs of the region.”

CFAO Mobility Kenya plans to launch a new tyre division to target new customer segments, focusing on products that are tailored to East Africa’s unique driving conditions.

This acquisition highlights CFAO Mobility Kenya’s commitment to long-term growth and its role as a trusted partner in the tyre industry.
