A 20-year-old man has taken his own life in Mlima Mitatu area, Saku Constituency, Marsabit County.
Confirming the incident, Jirime Chief Enock Kalo identified the deceased as Liban Galgallo.
According to the chief, the young man was found hanging from a rope on the outskirts of Marsabit town under unclear circumstances.

The body was taken to the Marsabit County Referral Hospital mortuary.
Chief Kalo urged young people to avoid drug and substance abuse, noting that preliminary investigations suggest the deceased had been using drugs.
