Gatuanyaga MCA Jack Ma Kungu has praised Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi over ongoing development projects in the ward, including the construction of Gathanji Dispensary.
Kungu said he had lobbied for the dispensary project two years ago and thanked Governor Wamatangi for responding to residents’ needs by supporting its implementation.
He also highlighted ongoing water projects at Magana Borehole and Komo, alongside piping works aimed at improving water access in the area.
According to Kungu, 17 casual workers were recently deployed to work with Thiwasco as part of efforts to address the water challenge facing residents.
The MCA urged residents to prioritise development and avoid what he termed “cheap politics,” saying service delivery should come first.
“Kazi kwanza, siasa ni baadae,” Kungu said, while expressing his support for Governor Wamatangi and the ongoing projects in Gatuanyaga.
